Firm releases new version of its Viteyes supplement
Butterflies Healthcare has released a revised, lower cost version of its Viteyes supplement to support sufferers of age-related macular degeneration.
The new version, Viteyes 2, contains the original formulation of lutein 10mg, zeaxanthin 2mg, vitamin C 500mg, vitamin E 400IU, zinc 25mg and copper. The two capsules per day supplement can be acquired through prescription or bought from practices.
The company said: ‘Whether buying over the counter or on prescription it is the most cost-effective AREDS2 formulation, so we would encourage everyone to switch today.’
