A Christmas carol concert held by Optician charity partner Blind Veterans UK has raised £15,000 in a single evening and reported record attendance.
The event (Optician 12.12.14) was held at St Marylebone Church in London earlier in the month, featuring a boy chorister and brass band.
In 2015 the charity will be marking 100 years of support to visually impaired ex-servicemen and women and has once again been confirmed as the charity partner for next year’s Optician Awards.
