Edmonds & Slatter raised £723 for Leicestershire-based charity Menphys during the optical practice’s Christmas fundraising efforts, which included a Christmas jumper day and winter raffles.
Amy Coleburne, charity co-ordinator at Edmonds & Slatter, said: ‘Menphys were very pleased to let us know that the money from our winter fundraising would provide a place for a child at one of their Saturday clubs for a year or alternatively fund three children for a year at one of their after-school clubs. We are now thinking ahead to how our 2023 support can progress.’
Menphys provided support to local families, including services for children and young adults who have additional needs and disabilities, and help them access equal opportunities.
