Edmonds & Slatter raises £1,255 for local charity

Leicestershire-based independent Edmonds & Slatter fundraised £1,255 for local charity Menphys over winter to support its work with children who have additional needs and disabilities.

Christmas jumper days and raffles were held across Edmonds & Slatter practices and patients who received complementary frame repairs and adjustments were encouraged to make a donation.

Tim Cole, director at Edmonds & Slatter (pictured centre), said: ‘As independent opticians, it’s really important for us to engage with the community and all of the team at Edmonds & Slatter have volunteered their free time for our charity events.’

Edmonds & Slatter chose to support Menphys because it enabled the independent to continue aiding those who are visually impaired.
