Ciba Vision has recently introduced a new cylinder power for its range of monthly disposable Focus Toric Visitint lenses. The new power of -2.50D will ensure that patients with up to -3.25D astigmatism can be fitted with the lenses, says the company.
It adds that the power will be available in an 8.9 base curve from plano to -4.00D. 'Patients with high astigmatism can now experience the clinically proven comfort of Focus soft contact lenses, which could mean a significant increase in Focus Toric fits,' commented Vanessa McClenaghan, Ciba Vision's contact lens marketing manager. The lenses and relevant solutions are available via the company's Visionlink practitioner supply scheme.
