Clinical Optometry has been accepted for indexing with PubMed

The online open access journal Clinical Optometry has been accepted for indexing with PubMed.

All of the articles published by Clinical Optometry have been made available through PubMed and PubMed Central, the Emerging Sources Citation Index (Web of Science), Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals, OAlster, Dove Medical Press and Google.

Simon Berry, editor-in-chief of the journal and SightCare member, said: ‘Clinical Optometry now publishes a diverse range of both peer reviewed original research and high-quality clinical reviews. It is heartening that the scientific quality of these articles, and the peer review process, has been proven to be of a high enough standard for archiving.’

SightCare CEO John French added: ‘Clinical Optometry is a fantastic publication avenue for any studies addressing the wide range of research into the practice of optometry. We are very proud to have its Editor in Chief as a SightCare Member which supports educational and knowledge share amongst its independent optical practice community.’
