The company hopes to raise funds towards a multifocal recording system, a piece of research equipment that allows staff to diagnose and monitor retinal conditions. The David Clulow charity committee (pictured) has organised a programme of fund-raising events. There will also be a dedicated Charity Week and individual store-based collections.

Richard Peck, Clulow managing director (second left), said: 'The children's centre at Moorfields is something the community can really feel proud of and we are happy to be able to commit to such a worthwhile cause.'
