The new look store, on Neal Street, replaces the old site on Long Acre. It has almost double the retail space and a larger choice of designer frames including Prada, Chloe, Chanel, Paul Smith and Fendi. The company said the store will offer customers 'the best in style choice,' as well as eye examinations and eyecare advice. - Turners Optometrists in Bridgwater, Somerset has been selected as a finalist in the British Quality Foundation Business Excellence Awards. Senior partner Richard Llewellyn said: 'We are thrilled to be finalists for this award at our second attempt. We have made enormous efforts over the last four years - maintaining our British Standard BSEN9002 certification and achieving Investors in People registration - to ensure that we are delivering the best possible eye care, from the best possible environment, with the best possible supporting organisation. It will be a great honour to represent optometry at the national conference in October.' Turners Optometrists moved to new premises on the outskirts of Bridgwater last year after more than 20 years in the town centre, which enabled the practice to re-equip with the most up to date examination and dispensing aids. It also has an on-site laboratory, a large car park and full disabled access. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and presented in the presence of HRH The Princess Royal following the Gala Dinner at the London Hilton on October 31. The award is open to all organisations in the UK. Each application is considered by a team of trained assessors. Applicants receive feedback in the form of a detailed report analysing strengths and areas for improvement. - For more details visit www.qualityfoundation.co.uk/awagnrgt.htm
