Johnson & Johnson Vision Care experiences production problems with Acuvue line
Following Coopervision’s recent supply issues with its MyDay contact lenses, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care has experienced production problems for its Acuvue line of products.
The company said growing demand meant Acuvue had outpaced its own projections. ‘Increased demand is affecting production capacity for a small percentage of our products, leading to some SKUs being temporarily out of stock at different times. We are dedicating significant resources to returning service levels to normal as soon as possible,’ said a company spokesperson.
