Continued disruption for Coopervision’s MyDay contact lenses

Supply of Coopervision MyDay sphere and MyDay toric contact lenses remains disrupted, the company has confirmed to Optician.

This is due to Coopervision recently experiencing a ‘considerably higher-than-anticipated demand for both MyDay sphere and MyDay toric’, resulting in the need to temporarily pause both trial and revenue orders.

The company commented: ‘Whilst we continue to work hard on a range of solutions to ensure we have robust capacity going forward, unfortunately the situation has not changed sufficiently for us to make these products available at this time. We will continue in our efforts to build sustainable capacity and will contact customers as soon as these products become available.’
