Contact lens manufacturer CooperVision has extended its 1-day contact lens portfolio by introducing MyDay toric disposables for patients with astigmatism to the UK and Ireland.
CooperVision said the MyDay toric lenses offer the widest power range of all 1-day toric lenses. They are currently available in sphere powers from plano to -6.00D (0.25 steps), -6.00 to -10.00D (0.50 steps), with cylinder options of -0.75D and -1.25D and axes of 10°, 20°, 70°, 80°, 90°, 100°.
Senior vice president of global marketing Guy Whittaker said: ‘MyDay toric is an advanced lens that practitioners can use to help further build their practices by giving patients with astigmatism a soft, comfortable lens-wearing experience with the lens stability and visual acuity they have come to expect from CooperVision’s toric lenses.’
