John Carter of Continental Eyewear has retired after 44 years in optics, the last 17 of these as area sales manager for Continental in the south east of England.
At a retirement party held in his honour near the company headquarters on Merseyside, John was presented with gifts from the directors of the company, in recognition of his long and valued service, together with a gift from the office and sales staff.
Neal Grimason, sales and marketing director, said: 'We wish John a long, happy and healthy retirement.'
