An exams co-ordinator at the College of Optometrists completed the London Marathon dressed as the Cookie Monster.
Ellen Clegg crossed the finish line in 5 hours 41 minutes, raising over £2,000 for vision charity Fight for Sight. Clegg, who has hypermobility syndrome, a condition which affects the connective tissues and can lead to frequent dislocation, said: 'My hypermobility means I sometimes have to cope with painful knees and yet there are millions of people who are coping with no eyesight. I know which one I'd rather deal with.'
