Coopervision has strengthened its position in what it said was a fast-growing myopia sector with the acquisition of Dutch specialist lens manufacturer Procornea.
For the time being, Procornea will continue to operate as a separate business and will retain its offices and brands, including its Dreamlite orthokeratology technology. Customers will continue to work with their current representatives
Terms of the acquisition were undisclosed.
