​Coopervision expands packaging operations capability with a new building

Coopervision has expanded its packaging operations capability with a new 166,000 square foot building in Southampton.

The building, known as the Mountpark facility, was opened on December 9 during a ribbon cutting ceremony by Dan McBride, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the CooperCompanies and president of Coopervision, and the right worshipful the mayor of Southampton councillor Peter Baillie.

The site will provide the space needed for several new packaging lines over the next five years.

Operations director at Coopervision Jason Burden said: ‘Customer service is a top priority for us and this investment in our infrastructure will enable us to meet the continued growth in demand and prepare ourselves for future expansion.’
