Cooper Companies has posted improved sales for the second quarter of the year as it continues to integrate Sauflon within the Coopervision unit.
Nearly a year after the company agreed to purchase Sauflon for around $1.2bn, production has been ramped up through new facilities of the Speedwell plant in the UK and another in Costa Rica, with new clariti and MyDay lines going into production.
The Cooper Companies president and CEO Bob Weiss told investors this week Coopervision was the only company offering a two-tiered approach in the daily silicone hydrogel market, with clariti positioned for the mass market and MyDay as its premium offering.
