Successful applicants will receive a £2,000 bursary to conduct a contact lens-related research project and the opportunity to attend the National Student Summit at the manufacturer’s headquarters in September, where findings will be presented to a panel of judges. The UK Student of the Year will then be selected.

The overall winner will receive a full BCLA 2015 delegate package with accommodation and the opportunity to compete in CooperVision’s European Future Ocular Research Creativity Event in spring 2015.

For more information on the scheme and how to apply, students should  contact their head of department.
