CooperVision's MyDay night

CooperVision held an Exclusive Clelebration Event at London’s Royal Exchange last week for 235 guests to mark the launch of its MyDay silicone hydrogel daily disposable. Guests were greeted by stilt walkers, jugglers and CooperVision staff, before dinner in the Grade I listed building. There were talks from Nigel Mallinson, CooperVision’s managing director UK and Ireland, Dr Paul Richardson, senior director of chemistry and Karl Aberdeen, UK & Ireland professional relations manager. Dr Richardson explained the Smart Silicone chemistry that creates efficient channels for oxygen delivery. Research was presented showing nine out of 10 patients were satisfied with MyDay’s comfort. Entertainment included Kaleidoscope, a combination of dance, laser manipulation and Pixel-Poi. A series of the events will be held UK-wide this autumn.
