British independent Cubitts has opened a flagship practice in the Soho area of New York City, a decade after its first site opened in London’s Soho.
The New York practice was Cubitt’s first international opening and it hosted several events, inviting customers to discover the brand.
Tom Broughton, founder of Cubitts, said: ‘As an outsider who has long gazed across the Atlantic with wonder and curiosity, it all feels very New York to me.
'We'll be far from home, but we won't change who we are. So you'll have to forgive us - we'll be bringing spectacles, not eyeglasses, along for the ride.’
Cubitts said it would offer its signature frames, personalised styling advice and an immersive shopping experience.
