Response to next spring's new Optrafair London exhibition has been so strong that the organisers are moving the event to a bigger hall.

Optrafair London will now take place at Olympia's 9,000sqm National Hall, from April 11-13 2014.

The central London exhibition, jointly organised by the Federation of Manufacturing Opticians (FMO) and Optician, will take place in alternate years to the Optrafair show in Birmingham.

Initially, Olympia's Central Hall was to host the first Optrafair London, but huge demand from exhibitors prompted organisers to book the National Hall as it has twice as much space.

A year ahead of the new show, more than 100 companies have already indicated they will be exhibiting at Optrafair London, which will cover the latest advances in eyewear fashion, equipment and lens technology.
