North Yorkshire Police has launched an appeal for witnesses and information about a theft that occurred at Boots Opticians in Skipton town centre.

The thieves struck last month, taking 19 designer frames worth £3,500 in total, reported local newspaper The Craven Herald.

A police spokesman said: ‘We are conducting inquiries and are requesting the public's assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.’
