Development role for Kirk

Kirk Originals founder Jason Kirk has joined British eyewear designer Inspecs as business development director.

Kirk will initially concentrate on developing acetate production at the Inspecs-owned Algha Works factory in East London for the Savile Row eyewear collection.

‘This is a very exciting opportunity to be involved in a project which is of fundamental importance to the British optical industry.

‘My grandfather, Sidney and his brother Percy, were involved with the Algha Works factory back in the 1930s and worked closely with Max Wiseman, its founder. Algha has the potential to re-establish Britain’s credentials as a manufacturer of fine eyewear and I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to that,’ said Kirk.
