DO takes time out to design new practice website

Dispensing optician Richard Payne has created a new website for South West independent group Noakes Habermehl & Kerr.

The optical chain, based in and around Plymouth, agreed with Payne he would split his time between dispensing in practice and organising marketing for the group, allowing him time to design and built the new site.

He spent most of last month developing and building the new website for desktop and mobile visitors.

Payne, who previously worked in advertising before joining the profession 25 years ago, said: ‘It’s become very clear that independents need to have a solid, well developed online presence to attract new clients and retain existing ones, updating our older site was a big priority.’
