A new training film on glaucoma has been launched by the Directorate of Optometric Continuing Education and Training (DOCET).
The 45-minute film covers glaucoma risk factors, management, referral and treatment, with two CET points available.
Philippa Shaw, DOCET's training adviser on the programme, said: 'There is often some anxiety and uncertainty among practitioners about the management of patients at risk of developing glaucoma, particularly following recent changes in guidelines for managing patients at risk of primary open-angle glaucoma.'
