DOs offered day release

City of Islington College is inviting dispensing opticians to apply for a place on its Contact Lens Course which commences in September 2009.

The day release course lasts 30 weeks and is in preparation for the ABDO CL Certificate theory exams. It includes practical work in all aspects of fitting, instrumentation and over-refraction. In addition, students preparing for the CL practical can apply for a place on a CL practical exam preparation group which focuses on detailed preparation for each section of the certificate practical exam.
