Eagle Eyes feature TriLenium technology, an innovation that came about through Nasa research into how eagles and hawks managed to zone in on their prey with extreme precision.
The research revealed unique oil droplets in eagles’ eyes, which filtered out harmful radiation and let in only select wavelengths of lights, giving them exceptional visual clarity – a discovery which Nasa replicated in lens technology, giving rise to Eagle Eyes.
