Lens specialist mark'ennovy has launched a new toric lens without an axis for patients with high spherical powers and a low level of astigmatism.
The company said the new lens, called Super-T, is also easier to fit and stabilise than a normal toric lens, because the aspheric design corrects astigmatism without the need for stabilisation. It therefore produces a better clinical result than an ordinary spherical lens. The lens is supplied with a 14mm diameter, base curves from 8.00mm to 9.00mm and a power range from +8.00D to -12.00D.
