Enhanced services on agenda at Specsavers PAC summit

Specsavers practitioners have been urged to embrace enhanced service schemes as a way of providing eye care the NHS is struggling to deliver.

Over 2,000 delegates attended this month’s Specsavers Professional Advancement Committee (PAC) meeting which celebrated its 21st year with and international flavour and calls for more involvement with the NHS’s enhanced care schemes.

The annual clinical conference offered delegates from the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, the Nordic region and Australia the possibility of 96 CET points and presentations from some world-renowned speakers.

Specsavers global director of professional services, Australia’s Professor Harry Weisinger, said practitioners had to look to the future of the NHS and understand the pressures it was under.
