British eyewear supplier Dunelm Optical has looked to increase its overseas business with the appointment of new export manager, Phil Toolsy.
Toolsy has been at Dunelm for over 10 years and has successfully developed frame and glazing sales in North London and East Anglia. He will now use his broad product knowledge and experience to develop Dunelm’s global export markets.
Peter Beaumont, managing director of Dunelm Optical said: ‘We export our unique frames to over 50 countries worldwide and we wish to expand this area of our business.
‘We are seeing increased enquiries from overseas following the recent movement in exchange rates which has made British exports extremely competitive. With all his knowledge and experience, Phil is the right man for the job.’
