The five scaled Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro  which, at 5,895m is the tallest free-standing mountain in the world in a seven-day, self-funded trip to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

'Cancer Research also organises a similar trek,' said Harjit Sandhu, of Vision Express and Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary, 'but we didn't take that option, so every penny went to the charity.'

Other members of the team were Jagjeet Klair (Specsavers, Cardiff), Ajay Patel (Specsavers, Wolverhampton), Balbir Singh (Ultralase, London) and Davinder Toor (Tesco, Southall) with their guides.
