Much like the ball boy himself Specsavers has been quick to pounce on top of a much-talked about football incident.
The company's latest 'Should've Gone to Specsavers advertisement' poked fun at Chelsea player Eden Hazard, who saw red for kicking out at an 18-year-old ball boy who smothered the ball from him in the closing moments of an important cup game.
Its advert appeared in last week's national news press and websites together with social media channels. Soon after launching it received 2,500 re-tweets and 800 Facebook Likes, and follows the multiple's coverage of other sporting mishaps at the Olympics and Euro 2012.
