Former Black & Lizars CEO joins Urquhart Opticians

Urquhart Opticians in Ayrshire has appointed the former CEO of Black & Lizars Mark Ross as non-executive chair as the independent targeted growth.

Peter Telfer, managing director of Urquhart Opticians, told the Cumnock Chronicle that Ross had been on the radar of the business for a while.

‘Most importantly, Mark shares our values. We seek to grow through building meaningful relationships with both clients and the communities we serve. He has already been instrumental in helping us identify and develop colleagues who share that commitment,’ Telfer said.

Ross added that having known Telfer and his business partner Alistair Duff for some time, he was looking forward to being part of their journey.
