French frame manufacturers took in two exhibitions in under two weeks with visits to New Delhi and Shanghai to promote the 200-year-old eyewear industry to foreign distributors and opticians.
The presence, with 15 companies represented at a collective stand, was organised by Lunettes de France, the umbrella organisation representing French frame manufacturers which is chaired by Dominique Pinton of Francois Pinton.
The French companies were guests at the In Optics show in New Delhi, where as well as business meetings, a reception attended by the French Ambassador brought together representatives of the Indian optical sector and the French manufacturers.
The visit to the SIOF show in Shanghai was the fifth consecutive year for French pavilion, with Dubai in March, Daegu in South Korea in May and Tokyo in October following the Silmo show in October.
