Images of a prototype Rx version of the Google Glass eyewear leaked on the internet last week. The pictures were posted briefly on Google employee Brian Matiash’s Google+ page before being taken down.
The full-rim frame has a more conventional appearance than the first version of the device, with a flat, sheet metal design and thin temples appear to be attached to the main unit of the device that houses the electrical internals.
A woman thought to be the first person to face charges relating to driving while using the Google Glass device has entered a not guilty plea ahead of her trial in the US. Cecilia Abadie admitted she had the device on when she was stopped for speeding, but said the device was turned off. The trial is expected to begin in January.
