Green light for photochromic lens

Transitions Optical has announced that its Signature Graphite Green photochromic ophthalmic lens is now available to all third-party laboratories and practices.

The new lens hue had previously only been available directly through Essilor.

To accompany the release, Transitions Optical has launched a new marketing campaign featuring Canadian actress Laurence Leboeuf. The new advertisements will promote photochromic lenses and will, for the first time, feature the new green colour.

The company said the campaign aimed to showcase the lenses to a wider range of wearers.
