The conventional joystick has been replaced with a trackball and roller. This, says the company, speeds up the initial manual alignment to the patientÕs eye with the trackball adjusting the measurement head along the horizontal and vertical axis, with the roller controlling the forward and backward movement. The motorised chin rest offers easy adjustment and can be moved up and down to match the patientÕs eye height. Using a new ring image detection system, over 200 measurement calculation points are now used to provide greatly enhanced accuracy. Another major advance is the full auto-alignment feature. After focusing, it automatically takes the measurements of both eyes and prints the results faster using a newly developed, built-in thermal printer.uFor further information contact: 01279 414969.
