Hakim team gets muddy for charity

Hakim Group’s ‘people team’ have raised £1,922 for Cancer Research UK after participating in a 5k-long, muddy obstacle course in Manchester on July 5. 

Charlotte Nuttall, people manager at Hakim Group, said: ‘We participated in memory of our loved ones and to raise awareness of this cruel disease. Cancer has impacted so many of us and coming together for such a worthy cause means a lot.’

Hakim’s team took part in the Pretty Muddy Run where they had to climb, crawl and slide through the course by working together. Nuttall added that her involvement was personal as she ran in memory of her dad and cousin, who both sadly died from cancer this year.
