A female patient found herself in a living nightmare as she suffered a horrific allergic reaction to Halloween make-up – leaving her with permanent sight damage.
The Daily Mail this week reported how patient Emmajane Duffy had used make-up to transform herself into a scary clown for the evening.
A few hours after applying the make-up, the partygoer was rushed to hospital with intense pain in her eyes, which were ‘glued together’ with trapped gold glitter inside scratching her corneas.
The Scottish customer relations advisor has been left needing glasses for the rest of her life.
