Comedian Harry Hill has put his name to a campaign helping people with learning disabilities access appropriate eye care.

Celebrities Dame Judi Dench, Jenny Éclair, Nick Hewer and Nicky Hambleton-Jones have also agreed to support SeeAbility's SPECtacular Friday appeal, which will be launched later this year.

Hill said: 'I was eight when I first started wearing glasses and straight away the insults started "Oi, four eyes!", "Oi, goggle box!". Everyone should have access to eye tests. Join me in supporting SeeAbility so that people with learning disabilities can get the help they need to access eye tests too.'
