Representatives from LOCSU, Pharmacy Voice and the National Community Hearing Association met in Ealing with the local council, Clinical Commissioning Group and Health and Wellbeing board last month.
The focus of the meeting was to discuss opportunities where service providers could best help improve the care of Ealing residents, including supporting people with long-term conditions.
Katrina Venerus, managing director of LOCSU said: ‘The event provided an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of the wider role optometrists, opticians, pharmacists and hearing care providers can play in supporting the delivery of more services in primary care.’
