Over 1,000 CET points were earned at an extended Optometry Tomorrow Bitesize last weekend, reported the College of Optometrists.
The event, which took place at Ascot Racecourse, was attended by 195 optometrists from across the UK – a 13% increase in delegate numbers compared to the 2013 event.
It featured the most well-received sessions from Optometry Tomorrow 2014, which was held in York, the College added. These included presentations on Migraine and other headaches: the role of the optometrist by Professor Bruce Evans FCOptom, The diagnosis and management of the watering eye by ophthamologist Raghavan Sampath, and Optic nerve head disorders and distractions by Dr Karen French MCOptom.
The College will host Optometry Tomorrow 2015 in Brighton on March 8-9 next year, it has confirmed.
