International glaucoma specialists gathered in London recently for the launch of the Heidelberg Engineering Academy UK Glaucoma Faculty.
Co-chaired by Moorfields’ ophthalmologists Nick Strouthidis and Professor Ted Garway-Heath (right), the event highlighted the work that the faculty will carry out in promoting importance of reliable and consistent imaging in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma.
Heidelberg Engineering UK general manager Krysten Wiliams, pictured with Heidelberg Engineering managing director Dr Gerhard Zinser (left) said: ‘We are honoured to have so many eminent minds working together to advance knowledge about the diagnosis of glaucoma and maximise the application of technology to improve care.’
