The latest frame to emerge from innovation lab at German eyewear manufacturer ic! berlin is I See Exoskeleton.
Designed to fully realise the potential of 3D-printed eyewear, the frame features an intricate, scaffold-like construction with a boxy aviator shape. The polyamide front of the frame is mated to stainless steel temples with the signature ic! berlin hinge design.
Previously, the company’s 3D printed frames had relied on a piece of stainless steel sunk into the polyamide. For the new model, though, the front section of the hinge is made from the same material at the front of frame.
