IDay23 delegates debate going private

Independents Day was attended by 95 eye care professionals on July 3 who explored the theme of profitable practice post-pandemic during the event.  

Over 50% of the delegates who attended the conference and exhibition had not attended the event before, which included discussions on going private and industrialising optometric practice.  

Nick Atkins, managing director at event organisers Proven Track Record, said: ‘We were really pleased with the numbers this year, which clearly showed this was an important topic. Some delegates had already gone private and many were thinking of doing so and were looking to our speakers to just give them that final nudge of confidence.’
