Proven Track Record has added an interactive element to Independents Day 2011 with four skills workshops.

These sessions will focus on how to do your own practice PR, how to better merchandise your practice, how to increase sales through more effective communication and how to make the most of the latest VAT rules. Workshops are restricted to 20 delegates, and will cost a nominal £10 each.

A Mini-Symposium, sponsored by Essilor and Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, takes place before the main event on Sunday afternoon and is open to all independent practices, regardless of Independents Day attendance. The symposium aims to offer a balance of business and clinical information.
