A free-to-attend event for all independent practitioners has been added to next month's Independents Day event.
A mini-symposium offering CET points will be held on the afternoon before Independents Day, on Sunday July 8.
Behavioural psychologist Andy Edwards returns after being a key note speaker at the main event last year.
Speakers also include journalist John Hay, who will talk about email and social media marketing, and Andy Hepworth of Essilor, who will discuss protection from the sun's spectrum, it was confirmed.
Nick Atkins, director of organisers PTR, said: 'Those attending Independents Night can arrive early and warm-up the grey matter for the main event the following day.'
