Attendance at Mido 2010 was improved on the 2009 event, with many exhibitors reporting a higher footfall to their stands than last year.
Although official visitor numbers are not yet available, frame companies in particular were confident that there were more attendees than in 2009.
Matthieu Lafont, marketing manager for Lafont Paris, attributed the improved numbers partly to manufacturers having had time to adjust to Mido's calendar change from May to March in 2009. This included adjusting their production cycles to be able to launch new products in March instead of May. As most manufacturers were showing new product at Mido 2010, this attracted more visitors.
