Optical students invited to apply for a 2017 fund from the IAMF and VAO
Optical students have been invited to apply for a 2017 bursary offered by the Irvine Aitchison Memorial Fund (IAMF) and Vision Aid Overseas.
In its 50th year, the IAMF included two bursaries for second year optical students to experience work in Africa through a grant made available by FODO.
IAMF chair David Cartwright said: ‘The Irvine Aitchison Memorial Fund was originally set up to hold annual educational lectures, but more recently has sponsored optometry students to embark on overseas projects.’
