Irvine Aitchison Memorial Fund offers bursary

Optical students have been invited to apply for a 2017 bursary offered by the Irvine Aitchison Memorial Fund (IAMF) and Vision Aid Overseas.

In its 50^th year, the IAMF included two bursaries for second year optical students to experience work in Africa through a grant made available by FODO.

IAMF chair David Cartwright said: ‘The Irvine Aitchison Memorial Fund was originally set up to hold annual educational lectures, but more recently has sponsored optometry students to embark on overseas projects.’
