Jai Kudo launches bespoke lens

Jai Kudo has launched a new bespoke lens, created to optimise each patient's individual prescription in a variable corridor design.

The lens, 'Wideview Signature - Optics by Carl Zeiss Vision UK and Ire', offers a corridor that can be matched to the patient's frame shape and prescription, which Jai Kudo described as resulting in 'unparalleled performance for a range of fitting heights'.

The company added that Wideview Signature meant that a truly bespoke pair of freeform progressive lenses was within the reach of the everyday patient. Jai Kudo said it maximised performance by accurately measuring the lens design to each wearer's combination of sphere power, cylinder power, cylinder axis, prism and addition power, as well as automatically adjusting the optical properties of the lens to incorporate a variable corridor length.
