Jai Kudo moves to Elstree site

Frame and lens company Jai Kudo has moved to new premises in Centennial Park, Elstree, Hertfordshire, which have been redeveloped to meet the company's operational needs.

The 24,000sq ft unit comprises 11,000sq ft of offices and 13,000sq ft of warehouse. Jai Kudo, previously based in North London, said it had attempted to retain as many of the 90-strong workforce as possible through the provision of excellent staff facilities and a minibus shuttle service to and from the nearest stations, while many have relocated to the surrounding area.

Executive managing director Jamie Holoran commented that the independent lens supplier was well placed with the additional space to handle its expanding lens turnover.
